Empow(d)ered Pasta Pesto

An easy way to "hide" extra nutrition in a family favorite.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (or nutritional yeast for a vegan option)
1/4 cup pine nuts or cashews
1 tbsp Chalé Spirulina Powder
Your favorite pasta
Instructions
Cook your pasta according to the package directions.
While the pasta cooks, blend the basil, olive oil, cheese, nuts, and spirulina powder until smooth.
Toss the freshly cooked pasta with the spirulina pesto.
Top with extra sprinkles if you want a "nutritional crunch".
